This is my website to document the development of my Racing Car Dream. The project is currently called the The Griffin Racing Cars. This may change as time gones on bit it seamed like a good place to start and get the project kicked off.

The idea behind this project is simple. I have always wanted to build race cars. I have been working in engineering since leaving school and university. I have designe parts for high-performance and custom cars. I design and make race engine parts on a daily basis, but now I want to pursue my dream of building and racing my own high level race car.

I have been racing and tracking a Ford Fiesta XR2i, which has had many upgrades and custom parts designed and made for it but now I want to take the step up to high levels of motorsport before I become to old. I’m probably past the age of working my way into an established team to be a top tier driver, but I have a passion for racing in endurance racing with the pinical being Le-Mans. I’m looking to compete in the GT catagory probably with a GT3 spec car which I will design and build. The road to Le-mans isn’t going to be quick or easy and my inital target is to get there by 2030. This will require a lot of effort to achieve. No only have a got to design the car, build the car, test and develop the car, find other drivers, race to gain the required licence level, as my national B wont cut it!
